I saw an episode in extreme makeover home edition were they built a house for a family and they used solar energy to power the house I like that not just because is good for the envirorment but because I think is better for us too, If we take care of the Earth we live in I think is going to last more.

    I saw that show, too. Solar can be a good value long term, but pays back over a long period of time. The best way to find out how much it costs is to contact a professional solar installer from the phone book. A system will typically cost as much as 5, 10, even 15 years or more of electricity bills. So you’re slowly digging yourself out of a hole during that time. But after that, it keeps producing, year after year.
