Tony, you are a real professional and a great teacher. Thanks for the video. If it is not too much trouble, could you help me find some trianing on boilers and hydronic heating. I am a HVAC contractor in Northern California and many commercail buildings have hydronic heating and boilers. I know that boilers can be dangerous in the wrong hands and I want to know what I’m doing.
Thanks,
Geoff
If your self employed your looking at £50k ish.
Black cotton. about about a $1.00 a pair in bulk.
You should be cleaning the inside of the fitting and the outside of the pipe…good job otherwise
What do you think of CPVC?
Yea liked and agreed to your video but, the bread trick is not yalls idea. It has been done for many of many years. This has been done for at liest 20 years that I know of.
taxed? commercial? domestic? self employed? all factors im afraid. but bottom line little less than an electrition. enough for maybie 2 holidays a year =)
Hi nice video.
Could anyone tell me how much the average plumber in the UK makes? thanks.
this is much easier than my plumbing instuctor was making it out to be!
can somebody tell me what kind of gloves hes wearing????
yo that was REALLY helpful info. My dad nastied up some replacement fittings on top of our tankless heater. Solder went everywhere! Next time i’ll try one for myself with some trans-fluid on a towel. Thanks! Rated!
I never heard of useing transmission fluid to keep the silver from running so I tried it. Right on, nice clean sweat. Kudos!, I’m gonna show this Vid to my staff.
Big Tony The Plumber, you are awesome.
Thanks Big Tony,Very helpful video…you forgot to mention reaming the cut pipe to prevent future problems.Great video.
thanks tony!
Pretty cool Tony, I never heard about the tranny fluid deal but the man I used to work w\, R.I.P., told me about the bread trick. I noticed you dint mention, that after cutting pipe, ream it carefully to remove burrs & the inner lip created during cutting, not so that it flares out the pipe however. Did you say M pipe is for “heat” ? What do you mean ? Folks, flux has 2 functions, cleaner & by capillary action pulls the solder into the joint towards the heat. Thanx for this vid Tony.
Hey Tony, I enjoyed your plumbing video. Kpee up the great work! Check out our site if you ever need assistance on marketing.
thanks tony, i’ll try the bread trick
Thanks for the video big tony.
Great video, awsome job on the pipe. I realize you are just doing a demo, but can you do one side of a fitting then come back and do the other side after the pipe has cooled? Or should you always do both sides (all three for a tee) on the same pass?
MAPP GAS!!!!!!!!!!
The transmission fluid trick is an excellent tip. I’m a do-it-yourselfer and I’ll have to give it a try on the next project. Thank you Tony!
Thanks Tony, the water kept creeping up the pipe preventing me from sealing the leak, the bread trick is the info I needed! Thanks
Thanks for taking the time to teach. The video has lots of info and its easy to follow. I will be checking out your other videos for sure.
